Plant Supports
Climbing plants whether edible or growing merely for decoration add interest to the plot or garden. Not only do they add height but provide a screen so that you don't see the whole of the garden at once. They can be used to clothe walls or fences alternatively they can climb up free standing supports available in all sorts of shapes and sizes. There is also a wide choise of materials available. When buying a support or frame it is important that you know how the plant that you wish to grow up it will climb. Plants may be self clinging like ivy, they may wind up the structure as do runner beans or they may cling to the support with tendrils like peas.
